Club Deportes Castro is a Chilean professional basketball team located in Castro, Chile. The team currently competes in the Liga Nacional de Básquetbol de Chile.
History
Deportes Castro was established in 2003. The team's first coach was Jose Fernandez, who led the team until 2010. The most notable performance were at the Liga Nacional 2011-2012, when they won the title.
Castro er et chilensk basketballhold, der er baseret i byen Castro, Chiloé. Holdet blev grundlagt i 1997 og spiller i den chilenske Liga Nacional de Básquetbol (LNB). Castros hjemmebane er Estadio Municipal de Castro.
Holdet har vundet to LNB-mesterskaber, i 2006 og 2008. De har også vundet det chilenske basketballpokalturnering, Copa Chile, tre gange, i 2005, 2006 og 2008.
