Philippines NCAA

The National Collegiate Athletic Association football championship is held every early part of the year.

The football season is divided into two conferences (tournaments). Out of the eight NCAA schools, so far four fielded a team in the football tournament.

The teams face each other once every conference. The teams with the most points on the league table advances in the Championship game.

If a team wins both conferences, the Championship game is omitted, and the winning team from both conferences is the champion.

Philippines NCAA er det nationale fodboldmesterskab i Filippinerne og organiseres af National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Ligaen blev etableret i 1924 og består af 12 hold fra forskellige universiteter i landet.

NCAA-turneringen spilles i en turneringsstil med et gruppespil efterfulgt af en knockoutfase. Vinderen af turneringen bliver kåret til national mester og tildeles NCAA Football Championship Trophy.

Philippines NCAA er en af de mest prestigefyldte fodboldturneringer i Sydøstasien og tiltrækker topspillere fra hele landet. Ligaen er også kendt for sin høje kvalitet og konkurrenceniveau, og flere af spillerne har videregået til at spille på det filippinske landshold.
