Wikipedia - 2021–22 NCAA football bowl games

The 2021–22 NCAA football bowl games were a series of college football games scheduled to complete the 2021 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The main games concluded with the 2022 College Football Playoff National Championship played on January 10, 2022, while the all-star portion of the schedule concluded February 19, 2022.

**NCAAF Bowl Games**

NCAAF Bowl Games er den afsluttende del af den amerikanske college footballsæson. Spillene spilles årligt i december og januar på forskellige stadioner over hele landet.

**Format**

Bowl Games er opdelt i to niveauer:

* **New Year's Six Bowls:** De seks mest prestigefyldte bowls, som er vært for hold fra Power Five-konferencerne (ACC, Big Ten, Big 12, Pac-12, SEC) og Notre Dame.
* **Group of Five Bowls:** Bowl-spil for hold fra Group of Five-konferencerne, som omfatter American Athletic Conference, Conference USA, Mid-American Conference, Mountain West Conference og Sun Belt Conference.

**Kvalifikation**

Hold kvalificerer sig til Bowl Games baseret på deres rangering i den endelige College Football Playoff-rangering eller deres sejrsrekord. Hvert bowl-spil har sine egne kvalifikationskriterier.

**Tradition**

NCAAF Bowl Games har en lang tradition i amerikansk sport. Mange af spillene har været spillet i årtier og har ikoniske øgenavne, som f.eks. Rose Bowl, Sugar Bowl og Orange Bowl.

**Betydning**

Bowl Games giver college football-hold mulighed for at afslutte deres sæson med et brag og konkurrere om nationale mesterskaber. Spillene er også store sociale begivenheder, der tiltrækker tusindvis af fans og genererer millioner af dollars i indtægter.
