Täby FK is a Swedish football club based in Täby, Stockholm.

History

The club was founded in 2012 when the football sections of Täby IS and IFK Täby merged. In 2019 they won Division 2 Norra Svealand and gained promotion to Division 1, the third highest league, where they will be playing in 2020. During the 2020/21 season, the club reached its highest position ever 11th in Division 1 Norra with a young and talented squad where the oldest player was their captain at 23 years old.

Täby FK (Täby Fotbollklubb) er en svensk fodboldklub fra Täby, Stockholm. Klubben blev grundlagt i 1923 og spiller sine hjemmekampe på Tibblevallen i Täby.

Täby FK har en lang og succesfuld historie. Klubben har vundet Division 1 Norra to gange og er derefter rykket op i Superettan, den næstbedste række i Sverige. Klubben har også vundet Svenska Cupen én gang, i 2002.

Täby FK er kendt for at udvikle unge talenter. Klubbens akademi har produceret en række spillere, der har spillet for Sveriges landshold, herunder Victor Nilsson Lindelöf, Albin Ekdal og Pontus Jansson.

I øjeblikket spiller Täby FK i Division 1 Norra. Klubben er i øjeblikket på førstepladsen og har et mål om at rykke op i Superettan igen.
