The FEU Tamaraws and Lady Tamaraws are the varsity teams of Far Eastern University in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP). The university's high school varsity teams are called the Baby Tamaraws.

History

Far Eastern University was one of the founding members of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) of the Philippines in 1924. The team participated in the NCAA Philippines in 1929, then eventually withdrew in 1935 to join the Big 3 League composed of the universities which left the NCAA in 1932. Far Eastern University together with the University of the Philippines, University of Santo Tomas, and National University founded the University Athletic Association of the Philippines in 1938. FEU offers varsity sports in basketball (5x5 and 3x3), volleyball, beach volleyball, football, futsal, badminton, tennis, swimming, taekwondo, table tennis, chess, softball, fencing, and track & field.

FEU Tamaraws er et filippinsk fodboldhold med base i Manila. Holdet blev grundlagt i 1952 og spiller i øjeblikket i United Football League (UFL), landets øverste fodboldrække. Tamaraws har vundet fire UFL-mesterskaber, hvilket er næstflest i ligaens historie.

Holdet spiller sine hjemmekampe på FEU Diliman Stadium i Quezon City. Stadionet har en kapacitet på 12.000 tilskuere. Tamaraws har en stor fanskare, der er kendt for deres passion og støtte.

Holdets bemærkelsesværdige spillere inkluderer Jerry Lucena, Chieffy Caligdong og Simon Greatwich. Lucena er en tidligere filippinerlandsholdsspiller, der har spillet i en række klubber i udlandet, herunder Cardiff City og APOEL. Caligdong er en angriber, der er klubrekordholder for flest scorede mål. Greatwich er en forsvarsspiller, der har været en del af Tamaraws-holdet siden 2011.

FEU Tamaraws er et af de mest succesrige og populære fodboldhold på Filippinerne. Holdet har en rig historie og har produceret nogle af landets bedste spillere. Tamaraws er altid en kandidat til at vinde UFL-mesterskabet og er et hold, som alle modstandere frygter.
