Dungannon Swifts

Dungannon Swifts Football Club is a Northern Irish, semi-professional football club playing in the NIFL Premiership. The club, founded in 1949, has risen from the Mid-Ulster league to the top tier in Northern Ireland since its election to the Irish League First Division in 1997. Dungannon earned promotion from Irish League First Division to the Premier Division in the 2002–03 season.

The Swifts hail from Dungannon, County Tyrone and plays their home matches at Stangmore Park. Club colours are royal blue with white trim (home strip) and yellow with a blue trim (away strip).

Dungannon have a mentality of developing future players from their youth system and deploying them into the first team at a relatively young age.

Dungannon Swifts er et fodboldhold i den nordirske Premier League. Klubben blev grundlagt i 1950 og har base i byen Dungannon i County Tyrone. Dungannon Swifts spiller deres hjemmekampe på Stangmore Park.

Dungannon Swifts har vundet den nordirske Cup fire gange, i 1983, 1991, 1993 og 2018. Klubben har også vundet County Tyrone FA Cup tre gange, i 1965, 2007 og 2017.

Dungannon Swifts' største succes kom i 2018, da de vandt den nordirske Cup. Klubben besejrede Glenavon 2-0 i finalen for at vinde deres første store trofæ i over 25 år.

Dungannon Swifts er kendt for deres angrebsstil og har produceret flere talentfulde spillere, herunder Warren Feeney, Michael O'Connor og Gavin Dykes.
